    • I want to thank you as well as the entire staff at Cheval for the extraordinary two weeks golfing on your magnificent course. I was made to feel welcome during our first meeting when you took me around the facility and it continued from that point on. The members we met were all friendly and welcomed me at every turn. Steve could not be more accommodating in the club house, was always friendly and answered any questions I had. I played the course daily for almost two weeks. It is one of the finest tests of golf I have played in Florida. I could be a member here and never get bored playing the same course, as the course with the undulating fairways changes depending on your lie for every round. I am still looking at Clearwater to purchase a home in the very near future and if I do Cheval will have a new member. Simply outstanding in every way.

    • Over my 11-year professional football career I have had the opportunity to play many golf courses here in the United States, and of course here in the Tampa Bay area.

Throughout all of my experiences I must say that Cheval Golf and Country Club is one of my absolute favorites. The Champion Bermuda Greens are true and fast, the staff is very knowledgeable, friendly and service oriented, the newly remodeled clubhouse is fantastic, and the members are very welcoming, making it a great atmosphere.

    • Cheval Golf and Country Club is truly one of Tampa‚Äôs gems. The course is beautiful and the newly renovated clubhouse is very classy. I like that Cheval is semi-private; it feels like an exclusive club, but allows me to bring friends and meet new people.

    • A good friend of mine from Carnoustie told me one day when we were out playing a round on the Scottish Monster that, "St. Andrews has the history and we have the golf course".  After my little golf vacation to end the season in Florida this week, that saying holds true on this side of the pond also.  After playing Orange County National and Champion Gates - what a great experience, but I saved the best for last - Cheval.

They might have the rankings in magazines & polls, but you have got the golf course by a major mile.  I cannot think of a better course to finish off my 2009 golf season.  From the first tee to the 18th green, it was a work of art:  mentally stimulating, physically challenging- a pure treat.

It would be a shame to not let people experience this Florida gem - golfers will relish the opportunity to play Cheval.  I can hardly wait to return to Florida - Cheval could become an addiction.  Thank you for allowing us to play the course.  It ranks right up there with the very best in the world.
